Proshark Digital Marketing is a full-stack digital agency that specializes in comprehensive digital marketing strategies. We are looking to add a Senior Digital Marketing Sales Representative. The work covers a wide range of digital marketing disciplines including SEO, content strategy and creation, conversion rate optimization, PPC and analytics. We also have some unique USP’s that we offer along with a SaaS platform that we are developing in the background. We are early stage, high growth so the opportunities are plentiful for the right people. If you are quick on your feet, fast to learn, have a basic understanding of digital marketing, understand how to solve problems, like to build things, and are not afraid to ask for the sale, then this might be what you are looking for. 


This will be a client-facing role and you'll be working directly with a wide range of businesses of all sizes – from mom and pop to international brands. You must be able to work with a team, but also be independent with minimal hand holding required. This function involves working closely to identify client needs, problems, and objectives and is much more than just selling services. We create and execute strategy. 


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing and how to identify opportunity. They will be able to work well in a fluid environment and be self-motivated with 2+ years' experience working in digital marketing sales role and will have proven results. The ideal candidate will thrive selling high-ticket products and services. This is not a salaried position. If you need a salary, then you are probably not the right fit for what we are looking for in a candidate. 

Responsibilities of a Digital Marketing Sales Representative


  • Consult businesses to identify pain points and work with the team to develop solutions
  • Candidate will be responsible for cultivating clients
  • Client relationship owner to communicate customer needs and requirements from the field
  • Aggressively prospect, develop, and close sales
  • Work directly with businesses to learn their needs and help define their marketing goals
  • Develop customized marketing solutions with multiple Proshark fulfillment teams
  • Be accountable for the entire sales process from prospecting to completion of the sale
  • Maintain detailed notes and updated pipeline for weekly review
  • Oversee client onboarding and transition to project management team upon completion of sale
  • Utilize new and innovative technology to engage clients
  • Develop, meet and exceed individual daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Maintain ongoing relationship with clients and assist project managers with upsell opportunities
  • Possess an understanding and passion for the identifying and solving digital marketing problems
  • Individually driven to work in a competitive environment
  • Be willing to grow and manage a sales team over time 

Qualifications


  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Well-versed in software sales, development sales and digital marketing
  • Familiar with database and development concepts
  • Familiar with elements of digital marketing
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 2+ years of prior sales experience in Digital Marketing
  • Must be self-motivated and driven with a successful sales background
  • Must have extensive experience building and growing successful long-term relationships
